When my lovely cat passed away from cancer I was devastated. 
I missed him dearly. I started playing with his photos, and making collages. It was a very therapeutic experience for me.
In order to thank all the different vets who were involved in the last 2 years in his care, I made a memorial card. It was meant to notify the vet who did not know of his death as well as thanking them. Then it hit me that I should have a site and offer what I love doing to others as well. So Lasting Pets was born.
